Summer Tips

Lightweight, cotton cover-ups along with a cap or broad-brimmed hat will act as shields from harmful UV rays.

some tips:
  1. Apply sunscreen religiously.  Always apply sunscreen. Look for sunscreens that offer protection for both UVA and UVB rays – keep in mind that a high SPF number is no longer enough.
  2. Use a cleanser with salicylic or glycolic acid.  Dry, combination, and/or sensitive skin should completely avoid this and instead opt for one of Mario Badescu’s cream soaps. Combination/oily to oily skin types are more suitable for cleansers containing one of the two acids.
  3. Moisturize with SPF.  Applying moisturizer with SPF is essential regardless of the season.
  4. Don’t skimp on eye creams and lip protection. Sun exposure will gradually thin skin and cause wrinkles. Protect the delicate areas of your face with appropriate creams and balms.
  5. Protect your hands and feet too. Your neck, chest, and hands are an instant giveaway to your true age.Be sure to apply sunscreen to your chest area as it is one of the areas of your body more susceptible to sunburn.
  6. Boost your block with antioxidants. Skincare products containing antioxidants like Vitamin C, Vitamin E, and green tea can help reverse sun damage. Try serums such as our Vitamin C Serum, suitable for all skin types to help boost your block.
  7. Keep hydrated. Drink water throughout the day.
  8. Exfoliate.Depending on your skin type, exfoliate either 1-2 times a week if you’re dry and 2-3 times a week if you’re oily to help shed dead skin buildup and slough off previous sun damage. Doing so helps rejuvenate skin, leaving it soft and brighter.
  9. Make the healthy switch. As tempting as it is to lie in a tanning bed or sunbathe to get the ever-covetable summer skin, make the switch to self-tanners to achieve that color without yielding yourself to the dangers of overexposure.

why moisturize oily skin ????

There are two basic rules when it comes to oily skin:
  1. cleansing - without drying the skin.
  2. moisturizing - to bring back the moist that was lost in the cleansing process.
They are both equally important. Not washing or moisturizing your face for even one night can lead to breakouts and blackheads. Oily skin needs special care. This type of skin tends to be large and open, mainly in the t-zone area (forehead, nose and chin). The excessive oil production causes the skin to look dirty, tired and unattractive.

The good thing is, that this type of skin ages better, the oil protects the skin and lubricate it, which means that as you get older, your skin would look younger than it should have been. So keep in mind that there are actually good things in having oily skin.

Nevertheless, it's important to remove that excessive oil on a daily basis, in a way that will not dry out your skin and will not strip away the oil that the skin needs.

Many people think that oily skin doesn't need moisturizer because of the sebum production and believe it will only clog their pores. this is a common misconception, oily skin needs moisture.

When you pick up moisturizer, the first thing to you should look is the  "Oily - Skin" tag. You should also look for "Oil - free"  tag. Good moisturizers for oily skin are water based and some of them are even called gel moisturizers because they are lighter than the ordinary face cream and contain more water. It is recommended to use the gel type moisturizers, they are more suitable for oily skin since they are lighter and absorb more easily.

Refreshing time

guyz..... exmz over , some free days to enjoy your life..... but don't forget to be more beautiful....
a girl's beauty is her everything .
so, here is remedies for pimples... but rememeber TIP: remedies always work differently for each skin type .

LEMON:

A quick way to get rid of pimples is the use of lemon juice, which is rich in vitamin C. Lemon juice helps pimples dry up faster. Be sure to use fresh lemon juice and not bottled juice, which has preservatives. There are a couple of ways to apply this remedy.
  • Dip a clean cotton swab in fresh lemon juice and apply it to the pimples before going to bed.
  • You can also mix one tablespoon of lemon juice with one teaspoon of cinnamon powder and put it on the pimples overnight. In the morning, wash the skin well with lukewarm water. However, this particular remedy is not suitable for those with sensitive skin.

TOOTHPASTE:

The toothpaste that you use every morning to clean your teeth also can be used to treat pimples quickly. It is most effective when used following the ice remedy. You must use white toothpaste; avoid using gel toothpaste.

  1. Apply some white toothpaste over the affected skin area before going to bed.
  2. In the morning, wash your face with water and you will see a significant improvement in the swelling.
If you wish, you can repeat the process in the daytime also. Just make sure the toothpaste remains on the pimples for at least half an hour.

ICE:

Ice can be used to quickly reduce the redness, swelling and inflammation of pimples. It helps in improving blood circulation to the affected area, and in tightening the skin pores and removing dirt and oil accumulated on the skin. You can use ice cubes or crushed ice, whichever is convenient.
  1. Wrap the ice in a piece of cloth and hold it on the affected skin area for a few seconds.
  2. Wait a few minutes and repeat the process.
STEAM:

Steaming is wonderful for your skin at any time, but particularly when you have pimples. The steam will open your pores and allow your skin to breathe. This helps get rid of oils, dirt and bacteria trapped in the pores that can cause infection or inflammation.
  1. Fill a large container with hot water and allow the steam to come in contact with your face for a few minutes.
  2. Rinse your face with lukewarm water and, after drying, apply an oil-free moisturizer
GARLIC:

Garlic is an antiviral, antifungal, antiseptic and antioxidant agent that can help in the fast treatment of pimples. The sulfur in garlic also promotes quick healing of pimples.
  1. Cut a fresh garlic clove into two pieces.
  2. Rub the garlic on the pimples and leave it for five minutes before washing the skin with lukewarm water.
  3. Repeat the treatment several times a day.
Eating one raw garlic clove daily can also help purify your blood. But do not to eat too much raw garlic as it can upset the stomach.

for some toothpaste works and for some ice works well.. remember always it depend on the type of skin you have.
